Getting Over a Crush Fast

Talk About It

One of the biggest things you can do to get over your crush is to talk about your feelings. Talk about what made you like this person and how they made you feel. Get rid of all the details. After you talk about things, understand them more and then let them go. Make sure you tell people that love and support you.

Obsessing

It is good to talk about your feelings but then you need to let them go. Stop thinking about them and talking about them all the time. Being obsessed and sharing your feelings are two different things. Do not be distracted by this person any longer.

You have people in your life that you can talk to and they want you to heal. Do this by letting them go.

Social Media

Take some time off social media while you are healing. Stop following their pages and stop seeing what they are into. Make sure that you stop being hard on yourself.

Get rid of your crush as your friend and find other things to do on social media. Set your privacy so that they are not on your feed. You can even unfriend them and they won’t even know.

When you are constantly checking their social media, it can make you feel sad and depressed. It is a normal thing to want to be connected to someone, but you have to learn to have the strength to let them go and to stop being so connected to them.

Know Your Worth

When you are getting over someone, you have to remember that this is their loss and not yours. You do not have a less worth because someone didn’t like you.

Do something that lets you know how important that you are. Show off your talents and find new things that you want to do. Let people talk about how great you are and learn to love yourself.

Learn, Learn, Learn

Take time to learn new things. Find out what qualities you had that turned your crush off. Learn to find new things to like. Have fun, learn to love music and new things.

Know what you didn’t like about your crush and learn to be more open minded. This can help you for when you get into your next relationship.

You Aren’t Alone

Even though you are hurting because of your crush, these feelings will go away, and you will move on. Even when negative feelings come to your mind, learn to control them, and push them away.

Things will get better ad time goes on. You are not going to be sad and alone forever. Remember all the friends and family that you have that are there for you and that you are never alone.

Write it Down

Start journaling and writing down all of your thoughts and feelings. This can help you to focus on things beyond your crush. Write down what you want in life and how you can reach your goals.

Journaling can help you to heal and help you to embrace your feelings.

Meet People

Go out and meet new people. Go to new places where new people are and see if you can find feelings for someone else besides your crush.

  • Feeling down all the time.
  • Feelings of depression.
  • That you cannot enjoy things in your life.

Feel comfortable with your therapist and always be honest. Do not be afraid to tell them what is going on inside of you. They will respect you and they will have value for you.
